- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Bio-chemistry, or Bio-technology from a recognized University.
- Passed a Diploma in Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician Course of Medical Technology. OR
- Passed a one-year Medical Laboratory Technician Training Course from a Government-recognized institution.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed by the Gujarat Civil Services rules.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

- Maximum Age: 36 years Age Relaxation:
