✵Education – Adhyapak Sahayak Recruitment 2025
- Master’s Degree: A Master’s degree with at least 50% marks (after a 5% relaxation for the PH category) in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Eligibility Tests: Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/ SET of Gujarat State.
- Ph.D. Exemption: Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009 or 2016) are exempted from NET/ SLET/ SET. Specific conditions apply for Ph.D. holders registered before July 11, 2009.
- B.Ed. Colleges: Specific qualifications (M.Ed. with 50% etc.) apply for Adhyapak Sahayak positions in Education faculty as per NCTE 2014 norms.

To be eligible for this special recruitment drive, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Disability Status: Candidates must have a disability of 40% or more. A valid UDID card (yellow or blue) or a certificate issued by a Civil Surgeon/Medical Board of a Government Hospital as per the latest government norms is mandatory.
- Special Category: This drive is exclusively for Physically Disabled candidates. While vacancies are for PH, candidates from SC/ ST/ SEBC/ EWS within the PH category will be recognized based on their Gujarat state certificates.

- Shortlisting: Candidates are called for Document Verification and Interviews based on their merit rank. The ratio of candidates called per post is defined (e.g., 6 candidates for 1 post, 8 for 2 posts).
- Interview: Final selection is based on the performance in the oral interview.
