✵Education – Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026
For Male Candidates:- Agniveer General Duty (GD): Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
- Agniveer Technical: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. OR 10th/Matric pass with 50% aggregate and 40% in English, Maths, and Science along with 2 years of Technical Training from ITI or 2/3 years Diploma.
- Agniveer Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.
- Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass): Class 10th Simple Pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% in each subject.
- Agniveer Tradesmen (8th Pass): Class 8th Simple Pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% in each subject.
- Class 10th/ Matric Pass: Candidates must have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject.
- For boards following a grading system, a minimum of ‘D’ Grade (33-40) in individual subjects and an overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade (or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate) is required.
- Note: Candidates from Indian Gorkhas category require only a Class 10th Simple Pass.

- Indian Gorkhas: 157 CM
- Tribals of Authorized Tribal Areas: 162 CM
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per Army medical standards.
- Chest: 77 CM (+ 5 CM expansion).
- Height: Minimum 162 cms.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per Army medical standards (BMI based).
- Chest Expansion: The candidate should be capable of a chest expansion of 05 cms.
- Height Relaxation: 4 cms relaxation is available for candidates from North East Region, Gorkhas, Garhwalis, and Tribals of recognized tribal areas.
- Age Range: 17½ – 21 Years.
- Date of Birth Block: Candidates born between 01 July 2005 to 01 July 2009 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
- Age Range: 17½ – 22 Years.

- Widows: The upper age limit is relaxable up to 30 years for widows of Defence Personnel who have died in harness.

- Phase I (Online CEE): Computer-based written exam. 50 questions (100 marks) for GD/ Tradesmen and 100 questions (200 marks) for Tech/ Clerk. Negative marking applies.
- Phase II (Recruitment Rally): Shortlisted candidates will be called for the rally.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Medical Examination
- Final Merit: Based on CEE marks, PFT marks (for GD/ Tradesmen), and Bonus marks.
- NCC ‘A’ Certificate: 05 Marks.
- NCC ‘B’ Certificate: 10 Marks.
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate: 20 Marks (GD/ Tradesman), 15 Marks (Clerk/ Tech).
- NCC ‘C’ + Republic Day Parade: 25 Marks (GD/ Tradesman), 20 Marks (Clerk/ Tech).
- ITI/ Diploma (For Tech): 20 to 50 Marks depending on course duration.
- Sportsmen: 5 to 20 Marks depending on level of representation.
