✵Education – GSSSB Recruitment 2026
- Staff Nurse: possess Diploma of Ayurvedic Nursing i.e. qualified Ayurved Nursing Course Certificate obtained from Gujarat Ayurvedic Nursing Faculty established by the Government of Gujarat.
- Physiotherapist: a Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or Page 5 of 18 declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956.
- Supervisor Instructor (Employability): A diploma in the appropriate branch of engineering/technology or advance diploma(vocational) from recognised board/institute as shown against each trade/group in Appendix A, obtained from the State Technical Examination Board or any of the University established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared as deemed to be a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956; or accredited by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or possess an equivalent qualification and have experience in the relevant field as described in Appendix-A respectively.
- Pharmacist/ Compoundar (Ayurveda): (i) bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy(Ayurveda) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956. Or (ii) Diploma in Pharmacy(Ayurveda) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956 And have about two years experience as a pharmacist or compounder in the Government, Local Body, Government Undertaking, Board, Corporation, or Limited Company established under the Companies Act,2013.
- Additional Assistant Engineer (Civil): a Diploma in Civil Engineering obtained from Technical Examination Board or any of the Universities or Institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or declared as deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or posses an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government: Page 5 of 29 Provided that the candidate holding Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering shall not be eligible to apply.”
- Laboratoy Technician:(i) possess a bachelor's degree in Chemistry / Microbiology / Biochemistry obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State's Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and (ii) have passed the diploma in laboratory technician or Medical Laboratory Technician course of medical technology or post-graduate diploma in medical laboratory technology or one year medical laboratory technician training course or laboratory technician training course from any of the Government recognised Institution or Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956
- Speech Therapist: ossess a bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India: or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared as deemed to be University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and approved by Rehabilitation Council of India or about two years experience in the field of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology recognised university/Institute.
- Multipurpose Health Worker: have successfully completed minimum one year Multi-Purpose Health Worker basic certificate course or Diploma course obtained from an educational institution recognized as such by the Government/ one year Sanitary Inspectors Diploma Course obtained from the educational institution recognized as such by the Government/ one year certificate course of Health Sanitary Inspectors from Industrial Training Institute or any other institute recognized as such by the Government
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 45 Years with Age Relaxation.
- Age Relaxation: As this is a special drive exclusively for Divyang (PwBD) candidates, a maximum age relaxation of up to 10 years is applicable under Gujarat Government rules. The maximum age limit, including all relaxations, must not exceed 45 years.
- Laboratory Technician: 18 Years to 36 Years
- Speech Therapist: 18 Years to 37 Years
