- Candidates must possess a Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. Engg.) with a minimum of 65% marks.
- Relaxation: A relaxation of 5% (i.e., minimum 60% required) is applicable for SC, ST, and PwBD category candidates.
- Final year students (2025-26 batch) are also eligible to apply, provided they secure the minimum required percentage upon completion.
- Candidates who completed their degree in 2024 or earlier are not eligible.
- Maximum Age: 26 Years
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years, OBC (NCL) Candidates: 3 Years, PwBD Candidates: 10 to 15 Years (depending on category)

✵Salary & Benefits – GAIL ET Recruitment 2026
- Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be placed in the E-2 Grade with a pay scale of Rs.60,000 – Rs.1,80,000/-.
- Basic Pay: Starting basic pay will be Rs.60,000/- per month during the one-year training-cum-probation period.
- Allowances: Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), HRA/ Company Accommodation, Cafeteria approach perks, Performance Related Pay, Medical Facilities, and Superannuation Benefits.

- GATE-2026 Score: Candidates will be shortlisted based solely on their valid marks in the GATE-2026 examination in the corresponding papers (CH, IN, EE, ME). (Note: GATE marks of 2025 or earlier are not valid).
- Group Discussion (GD) & Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a GD and/or Personal Interview before the Selection Committee.
