✵Education – UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2026
- A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India from educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament
- OR declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956
- OR possess an equivalent qualification
- A candidate must be a citizen of India
- With the consent of the Central Government signified in writing, subjects of Nepal or Bhutan may also be appointed
- Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
- OBC: 3 Years
- SC/ ST: 5 Years
- Civilian Central Government Servants Ex-servicemen: maximum of 5 years in accordance with existing Central Government instructions (total relaxation limited to 5 years)
- SC/ ST and OBC candidates who are also Civilian Central Government Servants/ Ex-servicemen: Eligible for cumulative age-relaxation under both categories
