- A Bachelor’s degree obtained from any recognized University established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India.
- Basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed by the State Government.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 40 Years
- Age Relaxations: Up to 5 years for General Female candidates and Reserved Category Male candidates. Up to 10 years for Reserved Category Female candidates. Relaxations are also applicable for PwD and Ex-Servicemen as per government rules.

- Upon satisfactory completion of the five-year period, candidates will be regularized in the 7th Pay Commission Matrix Level-4 (Rs.25,500 – Rs.81,100).
